Mrs. Miggsy (Under A Musical Mushroom)

More like "magical" mushroom...

...as in the kind of thing the manufacturers must have been high on to come up with this concept. Mondo bizarro children's Bible stories, told in the very strange and unique style of "Mrs. Miggsy" (a.k.a., Mildred Krentel), backed by "mushroom music" (I'm not making that up!), which actually is really cheesy background organ music. "Earnest-yet-deranged" might be the best way to describe the album. My personal fave is "Little V.W. Bus" (I'm still trying to figure out what a V.W bus has to do with the Bible), complete with thick faux-German accent for the bus! (OK, maybe "earnest" doesn't apply here).
